WE DON’T HATE AMERICA

On October 20, 2021, I read this opinion column in the paper - “I Hate America and its People, All Of Them.” It’s conclusion? Socialist Democrats want to control America. That backfired.

Democrats support The Voting Rights Act so everyone can vote If they’re eligible, regardless of their color, according to “Section 1 of the 15th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.” (https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/amendment-15/)

Fear is the reason for that column.

Projections based on the 2020 U.S. Census, show “Hispanic Tex ans are on track to become the largest population group in Texas as soon as 2022.” It also projects that by 2045, White people will be a minority in the U.S. (https://www.texastribune.org/2018/06/21/hispanic-texans-pace-become-bigg...)

That’s the reason Republicans are doing all they can to take power and keep it because we are meant to be a White nation. Control of the vote, and the officials who regulate it, means if elections don’t ’t favor Republicans, they can throw them out. Texas is a prime example. Republicans control Texas’ House, Senate and the governor’s office. They have just redrawn our voting districts to seriously dilute the Hispanic, Black and Tan vote, even though, according to the 15th Amendment, that’s illegal.

So who’s trying to control this country? That’s as clear as looking through cellophane or Saran Wrap.
