The Joshua D. Brown Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT) will hold its first meeting of the 2024-2025 season on Monday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 321 Thompson Drive, in Kerrville.Women over the age of 16 with an interest in Texas history or genealogy are invited to attend.This meeting will focus on chapter business, so no guest speaker is scheduled, but visitors are welcome to join and learn more about the DRT’s mission and activities.The chapter meets monthly from September through April, with a festive Christmas luncheon in December and ...
