The King is Coming

Decision time: the issue is freedom and our U.S. Constitution, vss. continuing to print money, and increase our nation’s deficit, handing our children and grandchildren the worst financial problems we were not willing to make difficult changes to fix.

Keep in mind our supposition that signs point to the possibility Jesus will be returning to earth sometime in this decade or early 2030’s. “When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth” (Luke 18:8)? Many of our founding fathers had faith in Jesus and apparently faith in our generation.

Our decision now is one of choosing God and the freedom of individual responsibility over dependence on government to be our caregivers. Many politicians we elect are good at offering handouts by printing money to maintain power over us; they do not want to give up their power, and they don’t mind kicking the can down the road to our children and grandchildren.

But God is not going to give up His power. His offer to us is faith in Jesus and making you His masterpiece (Ephesians 2:8-10) to walk in His good works He prepared for you before time began. Do you really think government is going to do that?

2 Timothy 1:8-9 tells us, “Share in the sufferings of the gospel according to the power of God who has saved us and called us with a holy calling …. according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ.”

Some of those sufferings we share will come with our decision to stay free and strive with faith for our calling in the work God has already purposed for us to enjoy.
