Medina girls win district opener

HS Girls Basketball had an amazing night on Tuesday against District Opponent Leakey.

The Girls Fought to the end to take the win in the first district game of the year while going into double overtime.

It was a big win for the Medina Girls Basketball team for many reasons.

This girls team along with the overall program is improving and kids are learning how to win and having fun.

I believe winning carries over and more winning is happening for these girls. There is a long road to the playoffs but that is the goal for this team.

I tell them each week to stay focused, humble and hungry for the next step. Each game is a process and each week we get closer to that goal.

There is no easy team in our district and we know that but we just have to enjoy the process.
