Pipe Creek Christian School hosts annual Spring Fling
The Pipe Creek Christian School held their annual Spring Fling on April 22, and it was a blow-out once again.
Vehicles filled the parking lots and lined both sides of the highway on FM 1283.
Upon arriving, the Cross Hill Junction Band greeted us with some good old-fashioned country music, interspersed with a little bit of rock-n-roll. The lead singer was Randall Duncan, who is a supporter of the school.
Many people brought their own lawn chairs to jam to the music. Others sat at picnic tables in front of the school building while a group of women served the food.
Visitors were able to shop a dozen vendors, who were hawking their wares, including candles, ceramics, plants, eggs, homemade items and clothing.
In addition, the New Life Resale Shop next to the school held a “50 Percent Off Everything” sale, which drew a lot of attention.
Especially noteworthy were the Guardians of the Children motorcycle group.
Their organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit and their whole purpose is to help kiddos who have been through traumatic experiences, supporting them as they traverse the court systems. This is their third year to attend the Spring Fling.
