Tickets on sale for chamber awards
Tickets are still on sale for the 2022 Bandera County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Awards Ceremony honoring members of the community.
This year’s event, titled Bandera Stars, has been set for January 27th from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at The Farm Country Club, located at 475 Pue Road off FM 2828 in Bandera County.
Three awards will be given out that Thursday evening: Cowboy Capital Award (nominees: Bandera Historical Rides; Roy Dugosh; Karen Osman), Citizen(s) of the Year Award (nominees: Glen and Marcia McComb; Sandra Schott; David and Trudi Phillips) and Business Community Service Award (nominees: Lowe’s Market; Boys and Girls Club; Riding on Faith Rodeo).
“We want to recognize individuals and businesses in the community that have spent so much time and effort to make Bandera what it is,” said Tammi Boultinghouse, Executive Director of the Bandera County Cham ber of Commerce.
Door prizes will be given at the event, and two passes to the upcoming Cowboy Mardi Gras plus spending money will be up for grabs as well.
Festivities for the event also include small dish cuisine, beer and wine at the bar and entertainment by the Mark Odom Band.
