MARGIE LEE BRATTON

Margie Lee Bratton, 86 of Bandera passed away on Nov. 5, 2023. She was born in Comfort, Texas to Edwin and Dollie Schoenert on Sept. 27, 1937. She married Bernie Bratton on Jan. 10, 1959.

She attended school in Comfort till 3rd grade. Later she would graduate in Bandera in 1956. She had Margie’s Beauty Shop from 1967 to December 2002 when she had a stroke.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Margie is survived by her son Billy and his wife Kathy Bratton. Grandchildren, Remington and his wife Jennifer Bratton, and Kolton and his wife Courtney Bratton. Great grandchildren, Knox Bratton who was just born on November 3, 2023, Rozelyn Bratton, Ezekiel Bratton, and Sterling Brown (companion).

Visitation will be held Thursday Nov. 9, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. at Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Friday Nov. 10, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Grimes Bandera Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Bandera Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Remington Bratton, Kolton Bratton, Tommy Isbell, Elliott Tijernia, Everett Tijernia, and Karl Beuttner.
