After dropping its second district game of the season in Wimberley, the Bandera boys’ varsity basketball team returned home on Jan. 24 and took on the Fredericksburg Billies, who entered the game undefeated with a record of 25-0 and 2-0 in district play.
The Bulldogs and Billies went basket for basket in the first quarter, as both teams got good shot opportunities as a result of good ball movement and floor spacing. At the end of the first, the Bulldogs trailed 16-14.
