The softball passes through the Medina Lady Bobcat second baseman’s glove as a Goldthwaite player slides into the base during April 1’s game, which the team lost 21-2. Despite the loss, Coach Larry Jackson praised the team for doing their performance at the plate and for their patience waiting for pitches in the strike zone. “The Lady Cats keep learning and improving as the year progresses,” he said. “We just need to be able to fit the pieces all together at the same time.” The team would go on to lose the next four games, with their away game against Center Point being decided by one point.
