Juniors and seniors attending a Texas college or university who are from Bandera County are encouraged to apply for one of the scholarships awarded by the Hill Country CattleWomen.
Students must have accumulated at least 60 credit hours of study with a grade point average of 2.8 or greater to qualify for the scholarships, officials with the cattlewomen said.
Students are asked to submit a sealed official transcript from the spring semester with their applications.
Students seeking all sorts of majors can apply.
