A divided Bandera City Council voted on Monday, April 6, to bring an experienced hand in city operations back to council on an interim basis to complete the term of a councilman who resigned last month after deciding to relocate with his nonprofit agency to the Austin area.
In a 3-2 vote, with Mayor Suzanne Schauman casting the deciding ballot, former mayor, councilman and interim city administrator Don Clark was appointed to the council seat that Brice Cavanaugh vacated when he resigned in early March.
