Dr. Jessica Wentling with the Greater San Antonio Emergency Physicians group, or GSEP, was approved by Bandera County commissioners last week as the new medical director for the Bandera County Emergency Medical Service. Wentling, who is board certified in emergency medicine, replaces Dr. Robert Wilson as the EMS medical director, said Calvin Plummer, the county’s EMS director. Wilson, after 17 years with the county, has decided to cut back on some of his responsibilities as he nears retirement and recommended Wentling as his replacement, said Plummer.
