A 33-year-old horse rescue operation with a new name and new start is welcoming visitors and potential volunteers on Saturday, July 4.
“Last year, we changed our operation name to Brighter Days Horse Refuge Inc. DBA (doing business as) Hill Country Horse Rescue,” said the center’s Chief Executive Officer Carole Gage.
While the center is operating as Hill Country Horse Rescue, she said either name can be used in donating funds to the center through its GoFundMe page.
