Bandera Independent School District officials announced last week that Travis Elrod had been appointed Bandera High School’s interim band director, replacing Roy Martin in that role. Elrod will be familiar with the programming and even many of the students in the band since he has been the Bandera Middle School band director since 2014, officials said.
