Medina High School’s 2020 gridiron season starts with a day game on Saturday, Aug. 29, a long way from home against St. Jo High School.
The game will be played at 2 p.m. at a neutral site in Hico, which is 219 miles from Medina and 149 miles from St. Jo, which is north of the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Medina football Coach Kurt Nichols said the team is well set to begin the year with 14 youngsters on the team, including returning starters Britton Wickham, Wyatt Boatman and Nate Aguilar.
