A 2021 budget of about $1.15 million that is about $73,000 smaller than the existing budget was ratified on Friday, Aug. 21, by the Bandera Central Appraisal District’s Board of Directors, said Bandera Chief Appraiser Shawn Davis.
The budget is essentially a status-quo spending plan, providing no revenue for additional staff, major capital expenditure improvements or a cost-of-living raise for staff members. Only normal step increases in pay associated with a staff member’s longevity and productivity are included in the budget.
