The Lakehills Area Library wants the public to know about and to come in and check out the variety of databases that are offered to patrons at absolutely no cost.
Databases are websites that house informational materials, or data. The library hosts 70 different databases.
One that can be accessed directly from the library is the popular ancestry.com. The rest are accessed through TexShare.
As a service to the community, the library pays all subscription fees. And the public gets to use all that information at no charge.
