Abbigail Wisdom of Pipe Creek has been awarded a Washburn University freshman academic scholarship for the 2019-2020 school year, university officials said in a news release.
The renewable scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and an ACT composite score of 21 or higher, the release said.
Scholarship award amounts range from $500 to $5,000 based on academic performance.
Wisdom graduated from Bandera High School.
