Gary Gene Charles Johnston, 80, of Bandera passed away peacefully on December 15 surrounded by his children in the family home he cherished and in the community he loved. His was a life well-lived, and his gentle, kind and humorous manners were widely appreciated. Gary was born on August 10, 1940, at Nix Hospital in San Antonio and was raised on the family ranch in Bandera.
