After a long wait due to back orders, Medina Independent School District received Chromebooks that will be used for learning in grades kindergarten through 12. Superintendent said that the district will be able to apply for reimbursement for these learning tools thanks to a program revealed in November by Governor Greg Abbott. The program covers costs incurred by Texas public schools that purchased Wi-Fi hotspots and/or eLearning devices such as laptops, tablets and Chromebooks to facilitate student learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
