Bobcats crush Indians in District opener
The Medina High School football team had a rough with some tough losses so far, but that changed big time on Friday, Oct. 8, when the Bobcats ran over Prairie Lea 56 to 8.
The victory brought the team’s record to 2-4.
“This was a big win for us, the kids are super excited. It is also a great district start with more healthy players than earlier,” said Head Coach Mark Coley.
Medina scoring started in the early first quarter and stopped at 4:43 to go in the third quarter with a 56-8 score trigging the UIL mercy rule of game over with 45 point lead.
“I think our kids understand that the part of the season that really counts, the part that will get them into the playoffs, is just beginning,” Coley said. On Friday, October
