The 17th annual Bandera Honors Veterans event on Saturday, Nov. 9, once again showed that this is a very veterans-friendly community, according to numerous vets attending the event.
Part of that support arises from the fact that veterans make up roughly 13 percent of the Bandera County population.
The local celebration started at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, on the Bandera County Courthouse lawn with veterans and their families displaying photos of family members who serve now or served in the military in the past.
