County considers jail architects
Commissioner Jack Mosley told the Bandera County Commissioners’ Court earlier this month a meeting will be held today for opinions to be expressed regarding candidates for the Bandera jail restoration.
At the November 10 Commissioner’s Court regular meeting, Bandera County Judge Richard Evans opened several packages which contained formal RFQs from architectural firms to restore the Bandera old jail and courthouse buildings into the new location for the Bandera County Visitors Center.
After each package was opened, the court recorded the name of the firm and put it aside until the process was finished.
Leading the project, Commissioner Moseley told the court that a meeting will be held Wednesday, November 30, for opinions to be expressed regarding the future of the project.
Following today’s meeting, the commissioners will award the RFP to a chosen firm at their December 8 regular meeting.
