The Medina FFA Leadership Development Event, or LDE, teams traveled to Hondo on Nov. 13 to compete in the Revaldina District LDE contest. Medina FFA members had a great night and came away with several banners. Cydney Newsom competed in the Greenhand Creed Speaking Contest and placed first. That qualified her to go to the FFA Area 7 contest on Wednesday, Nov. 20, in Blanco, where she finished in eighth place.
