Martha Orme is honored to display her colorful acrylic paintings in the Lakehills Area Library for the next month.Orme is from Helotes and wanted something to do during the COVID-19 lock down.Inspired by one of her grandchildren to learn to paint, she discovered YouTube lessons on acrylic painting. Although she hasn’t been at it, for long her paintings are truly inspirational.“I have found out you are never too old to learn something new,” Orme said. “I have enjoyed learning all the different techniques and using my creativity.”Orme’s works are available for purchase.
