Woman dies in tractor accident

A 57-year-old Bandera County woman is dead after being run over by her own tractor on Sunday, July 30.
Bandera County Chief Deputy Matt King said Juanea Ruck and her 64-year-old husband, Terry, were working on the wiring of their tractor when it started and ran over both of them, trapping Juanea.
“EMS and Airlife worked on her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene by Judge Grothues,” said King.
The incident occurred on the 600 block of English Hollow.
A GoFundMe has been set up by Raven Rucker, the duo’s daughter.
“As many of you know my mom had just retired and they were living paycheck to paycheck,” Raven wrote. “My dad will need help with funeral expenses as well as some extra to get him back into his feet. She was loved by so many and will be missed so much.”
