Sheriff Dan Butts and EMS Director Shannon Griffin presented their June department reports at the July 27 Bandera County Commissioner’s Court, both noting their departments were low on staff. Butts told the commissioners, “We are down five in patrol. We have two people who are out on medical, and we have two people talking about leaving. So, we’re hurting pretty bad in patrol.
