Flooded Out – Part 2So, when we left off last week, I was drifting along with a Victoria fireman in a 14 ft. aluminum john boat in raging floodwater. The little 25 hp tiller- drive, pull-start motor had quit, and I was frantically trying to get it started. I pumped the fuel bulb, checked the fuel-line connections and wore the skin off between my index and ring finger on my right hand pulling the rope.
