The population of the quaint town of Medina soared to new heights on Saturday, Oct. 14, as sky gazers from near and far gathered to witness the “Ring of Fire” eclipse, where the moon centered itself in the center of the sun.Although it didn’t get completely dark, the event made for a magical moment.Donning specialized eclipse glasses, residents and visitors in Medina flocked to the outdoors.This remarkable event marked the beginning of a unique occurrence, as another eclipse is poised to grace the same geographical area just six months from now, on April 8.This time, the eclipse will be total.
