Twenty-seven cowgirl’s braved cold, wet weather to take part in the 21st annual Cowgirl Round-Up held at the Mansfield Park Rodeo Arena on Wednesday, Jan. 1. Twenty of them brought their horses with them to the event that has been held to celebrate the influence of cowgirls in a county know as the Cowboy Capital of the World. Despite the bad weather, they spent time catching up with each other and outlining the accomplishments of their horses or the meaningful contributions the animals had made to their lives.
