Public school officials are attempting to identify students they serve who qualify for free or reduced-price meals during the school year.
Schools provide breakfast and lunch to students daily, but the full cost - $1.35 for breakfast and $2.10 or $2.60 for lunch depending on the grade level the student is assigned to – can be reduced to 30 cents for breakfast and 40 cents for lunch for students qualifying for reduced-price meals or eliminated for those qualifying for free meals.
