The board of directors of the Central Appraisal District of Bandera County agreed last week to hire a consultant well versed in appraisal district operations to act as its interim chief appraiser and to help evaluate the two finalists who have been identified for the appraiser’s job. Four people who had made the semi-finalists list for the open appraiser’s position were interviewed by the board last week, which allowed them to narrow the finalist list to two.
