A student from Pipe Creek and one from Boerne were among 71 students at Angelo State University who were inducted into the 2019 fall class of the Phi Kappa Phi national honor society chapter at Angelo State’s Houston Harte University Center earlier this month, school officials reported. The Pipe Creek student accepted into the honor society was Cora Bishop-petty, who is majoring in teacher education, and the Boerne student made part of the chapter is Connor Blake, who is majoring in accounting.
