Medina High School's One Act Play will present their final performance of 'A Monster Calls' Monday, April 17, at 7 p.m. in the Medina High School Theater.

Doors will open at 6:30, tickets will be pay-whatyou- can and concessions will be available. All funds raised will go toward funding OAP and Medina theatre's shows and activities throughout the year.

'A Monster Calls' had a successful run for Medina this year, as District Champions, Runner-up at Bi-District, and as Alternate at Area competition.

The cast and crew racked up multiple acting awards at every level of competition and earned accolades and praise for their costume design and theatricality of their performances.

Director David McGuff said he is very excited to finally share the show with the community.

“While competition is what the program is built around, the home performance is what I value most. The cast finally gets to perform in front of an audience there to appreciate and support them, and they get to bow at the end to standing applause,” said McGuff.

'That's the final memory I want them to carry going forward after months of hard work,” he concluded. “My hope is that the community shows up to support them, and they get to play to a full house for the final show.'
