Bandera featured in new Monopoly game

Released March 2 and currently available for purchase online, Monopoly: Texas Hill Country Edition, features Bandera ProRodeo and Helping Hand of Bandera County as spots on its board.
The new game, released by a company named Top Trumps, was unveiled at the Hoffman Haus in Fredericksburg earlier this month. Bandera ProRodeo President Janna Lindig said she was contacted about the game last Fall and worked on getting the company a logo proof to use.
“It’s very exciting, BanderaPro Rodeo putting Bandera on the Monopoly board,” she said.
Helping Hand, which is one of the game’s Community Chest cards rather than a property for purchase like Bandera ProRodeo, did not respond to a request for comment.
Monopoly: Texas Hill Country Edition also features locations such as Boerne’s HIll Country Mile, Stonehenge II, Gruene, The National Museum of the Pacific War, three different rivers, Wonderworld Cave and Adventure Park and much more. Even bluebonnets are highlighted on the board.
Enchanted Rock occupies the board’s most expensive state of real estate, priced at 400 Monopoly Dollars. Hamilton Pool is the second-highest, costing 350 Monopoly Dollars.
Other Community Chest cards feature HIll Country Family Services, The Mermaid Society of Texas, and more.
