Bulletin announces price increases

The Bandera Bulletin will be increasing prices for annual subscriptions and single copy prices.

“There hasn’t been a price increase at the Bulletin since at least 2008. It’s hard to know exactly how long it’s been at this moment, but that’s how far back our in-house records go,” said General Manager and Managing Editor Daniel Tucker.

“We held out as long as we could, but inflation and cost increase of paper and postage made the increase a necessity.”

Annual subscription prices for the Bulletin will change to $42 dollars in county, which will also be the price for one year of online-only digital subscription. It is now $50 for out of county and $63 out of state.

Meanwhile, single copies of the Bulletin will increase a quarter from 75 cents to one dollar.

Tucker says prices for obituaries, ads and special sections such as the Trailhead will also be increasing.

“2022 will mark 77 years that the Bulletin has been serving the Cowboy Capital of the World,” said Tucker. “We’re grateful to every single reader and advertiser for their business, and we look forward to continuing to bringing local news to the community.”
