Two hundred Bandera County fourth-graders were excited to attend the annual Ag Day at Mansfield Park on Friday.The Texas Farm Bureau has sponsored this event for over twenty years.Students from Alkek Elementary, Hill Country Elementary, Pipe Creek Christian School and Medina Elementary participated in this much-anticipated yearly event.There were 11stations where students were able to explore in-depth careers in agriculture: dairy farming, bee keeping, 4H, beef production, BEC, fiber arts, cotton ginning, horseshoeing, Texas Parks and Wildlife, farm machinery and the mobile learning barn.Agents Robin Harrell and Kaleigh Page worked hard to put together another wide-ranging exhibit of agricultural fields.“This ...
