Roger Stevens, longtime Bandera resident who helped plan Bandera High School and was responsible for many of the county’s roads and bridges, died November 25 at the age of 91.
“Mr. Stevens was a fair-minded and hard-working man. He served the school and district well,” said Dr. Ron Caloss, former principal and superintendent of Bandera Independent School District.
Caloss said Stevens was instrumental in getting the high school built, and it was a privilege to work for him.
