The Salvation Army of Kerrville has announced that it will hand out box fans to individuals with medical conditions, the elderly and families with young children to help them ward off the summer heat.
The fans will be distributed to individuals falling in those categories from the Salvation Army Social Service Office at 855 Hays St. in Kerrville as long as fans are available.
The Social Service Office is open Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon.
