The Lakehills EMS Support Team elected officers and presented certificates of appreciation to the volunteers who renovated an ambulance station in Lakehills during a Nov. 9 meeting that followed an open house at the renovated station. Elected president of the support team was Alex Hicks, while Ben Hicks was selected as vice president, Todd Yeates was named treasurer and Doug Franks and Jerry Van Zandt were chosen as directors, Franks for a two-year term and Van Zandt for a one-year term, officials said.
