A New Year’s Eve Party will return to the Lakehills Civic Center on Tuesday, Dec. 31, when the public is invited to an event celebrating the beginning of what organizers are calling the next Roaring Twenties. The party, a bring-your-own-bottle affair with snacks and set-ups available, will start at 8 p.m. and feature a DJ, dancing, hors d’oeuvres and black-eyed peas, cornbread and champagne at midnight. It costs $15 a person or $25 for a couple. Partiers are encouraged but not required to dress in their favorite 1920s outfits to a dance intended for those age 21 and older.
