Certain bills passed by the Texas Legislature earlier this year have left Bandera Mayor Suzanne Schauman somewhat alarmed.
“I think (the legislature) is doing the best it can to shut cities down,” said Schauman last week after hearing City Attorney T. Daniel Santee provide Bandera City Council with a Legislative Update reviewing the impact that new legislation would have on cities.
