Peterson Health marked National Active Aging Week, held from Sept. 30 to Oct. 6, by highlighting its growing Transitional Wellness Program, which helped seniors maintain active lifestyles.The week-long observance promoted wellness and activity for people over 50.The Transitional Wellness Program, based at the Peterson Health Wellness Center, supported more than 200 members with an average age of 75.The program provided services such as vital monitoring, supplemental oxygen, and exercise education.Personal trainers collaborated with physical and occupational therapists, as well as the cardiac rehab team, to offer personalized care that helped members maintain and build on their progress.Since the center’s opening ...
