A woman from Seguin was killed Sunday, June 21, at about 7:05 a.m. when a Toyota Tacoma she was driving southbound on Highway 16 near Pipe Creek was struck head on by a northbound motorist in a Chevrolet Silverado who had veered into the southbound lane, investigators said. Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety said Michelle Renee Hines, 48, of Seguin, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident almost three miles north of Pipe Creek.
