The 40th annual Spirits of Christmas Presents is gearing up for action in the next few days, with dozens of volunteers dressed up as Santa Claus and elves set to make sure children from low-income homes around Bandera County are not forgotten over the holidays.
Thanks to community donations, volunteers will select the gifts for the children that will benefit from the annual outreach on Thursday, Dec. 12, before meeting on Friday, Dec. 13, to wrap the gifts.
