The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration has awarded the Texas Workforce Commission and Workforce Solutions Alamo a Dislocated Worker Grant totaling $1.3 million, Workforce Solutions said in a news release last month.
Workforce Solutions Alamo, or WSA, has also secured a $2 million dislocated worker upskilling grant, the release said.
All awarded funds will be used to assist local community members in the area affected by COVID-19.
