On Monday, Aug. 3, 2020, James “Lane” Gardner III, loving husband and father of three, passed away at the age of 57. Lane was born June 26, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas to James and Bertha Gardner. He attended high school in Devine, Texas and continued his education at The University of Phoenix and Our Lady of the Lake University. For over 25 years, Lane worked as an emergency medical technician in Bandera, Hondo, Medina, Castroville and San Antonio. On July 29, 1995, he married Paula Rae Jones.
