Robert Newton Alanis, husband, father, grandfather, insurance professional and aspiring professional musician, carpenter, golfer and gardener died on Wednesday, Oct. 21. 2020, from COVID-19.
Robert was born at Fort Sam Houston, Texas in Bexar County to Daniel Cerda Alanis Jr. and Frances Augusta Polvogt.
He was one of five boys. As the middle child in the family, he grew up in Bandera, Texas and enjoyed fishing, camping and mastering the piano.
He graduated from Bandera High School and then attended North Texas University, receiving a business degree in insurance.
