Friday, Dec. 27 The Hill Country State Natural Area will put on a nature photography scavenger hunt called Trails, Cameras, Action! along the park’s Merrick Mile. Photos of wildlife tracks, natural vistas and other objects will be part of the photo-based hunt, which will be led by a park ranger and will take up to an hour to complete. Participants are asked to meet outside the headquarters at 11 a.m. Admission to the park will get you into the scavenger hunt. Admission is $6 for those 13 and older.
