Americans this month heard President Trump’s own voice acknowledging during a recorded interview back in February that he knew then that COVID-19 was contagious and much deadlier than the seasonal flu.
In another recorded interview with the Washington Post’s Bob Woodward released this month to the public, Trump states: “I wanted to play it down. I still like playing it down because I don’t want to create a panic.”
Yet, Trump just this week created panic when he suggested during a televised town hall meeting on ABC TV that herd immunity would end the pandemic.
